Power Tools
Horsepower or Voltage: When choosing a particular power tool, keep in mind that the higher the horsepower or voltage the easier it will be to drill, saw, sand or nail. The results can be cleaner cuts and better finishes.

Cord or Cordless? Keep in mind the project at hand when choosing a cordless model. The length of time required to do the job may require a cord backup if the battery runs low. Also, decide if the tool will need to have the flexibility of a cordless model for covering large distances.

Accessories and Parts: Some power tools may require frequent changes to parts and accessories when they wear down or break. Keep these extra costs in mind when purchasing a power tool. Other models may not wear as easily and can be less expensive overall.
